Very useful stand, fruit bowl and centerpiece.
When they were invented in the 18th century, they were destined for luxury tables: refreshments were used in summer seasons to keep drinks or wine glasses cool on an ice sheet. Several pieces dating back to the second half of the 18th century are exhibited in civic museums in Venice and many other cities, or scattered in private collections.
To a large original tub of cm. 46x38x26h have been gradually adding other smaller sizes.
